Service Description

Students will explore and understand the challenges of deploying a pistol against an attacker at “bad-breath distance.” The draw, presentation, and firing process undergoes a complete reinvention when the threat is close enough to stab, slice, or gain control on a concealed carrier’s gun. Weapon retention becomes key and students will learn battle-tested techniques to put effective shots on target at these close ranges in the safest manner possible. This is a physically demanding class and we recommend that students are able to run a 13 minute mile and do at least 20 push-ups and 30 sit-ups before attending this class. Please also inform the instructor AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS of any existing injuries or medical conditions that we need to know about. This course meets at a private bay at an outdoor shooting facility and students can expect to fire about 300-400 rounds. Students are advised to dress appropriately factoring in weather conditions. Full gear list will be provided to students after signup. This is an adult class and minimum age is 18. Private group classes are also available upon request with a minimum of 3 students. *Students who have taken this class before may take it again at half price as a refresher.

Cancellation Policy

Even though space is limited, please be sure you are able to attend a course before you sign up for it. All courses purchased are non-refundable unless INSIDER cancels the course due to reasons outside of our control. In such an event, students shall receive a full refund. If a student cannot attend a class that has been purchased, the student will be given full credit toward another future class of comparable value. No-shows without prior notice will not be given credit. If you cannot attend a class that you have registered for, please notify us ASAP via email at jon@insidertraining.us
